Active listening

Description: We had a talk about what Active, Busy and Me to listening is. We had 30 minutes to create it and the video could be 30 seconds long. I was working with Angus M and Hannah P when we were making the video.



Big Idea:  I learnt that active listening is when you have your audiences full attention and you taking in everything they say and could be asking questions so your audience knows that you are actually listening. Busy listening is when you are listening but you are not giving the speaker your full atention so it doesn't make them feel like they are important to anyone. Me to listening is when you a having a conversation and you are listening but you keep bringing the conversation back to you so you get all the attention from the other person.


Feedback/Feedforward: I like your video but next time try to get the green screening right and maybe try to voice over to because i can't hear it.

Evaluation: I found that only having 30 minutes to create the video was quite tricky for me and also only aloud to have it 30 seconds long. I found the planning easy because my group and I already had it planned out in our heads.

Et reo

I'm Description: every Monday afternoon we have et reo and for the past four Monday's we have been making a family tree and then we had to say there name in moāri. I will show a image that tells you what your family is called I māori.

Aunty Trudy is whaea Keke in Māori dad is pāpa in moāri.

Feedback: I liked how you ent as far as it could go
Feedforward: nothing but you should put the photo on.

Evaluation: I think I should go further up the tree on my dads side.

camp eportfolio 2016

Description: we just got back from El Rancho camp in Waikanae. There were ten activities rafts,  kayaks, archery, rifles and more! We did two or more activities a day. We had meals. We had cabins  some were big and some were small.

My one word portfolio post 2016

Description: At school we picked a one word for 2016. Elly took photos of us and we faked holding a sign. After that we put our one word on Twitter and said why we picked that word. Then we measured from one arm to the other. We then did a couple of drafts, showed a teacher and did a good copy. I did all the letters different because they all have a different story.

My goals for camp

Description: l have been doing two goals for camp; one is a personal goal and the other one is my active goal. Here are my goals.
